From London Heathrow Airport, Terminal
4 to IDS:
Start out at
Heathrow Airport Terminal 4 Hounslow. Turn left at terminal
4 roundabout and take 3 rd exit (signed Exit, M25). Bear
left onto Southern Perimeter Road. At Beacon Roundabout,
take 2nd exit to continue on Southern Perimeter. At Western
Perimeter Road Roundabout take 1st exit to continue on
the Southern Perimeter Road. Next roundabout take 2nd
exit onto Airport Way A3113 (signed Datchet, M25) at
next roundabout take 2nd exit which will enable you
to join M25 at Junction 14 (signed Gatwick Airport, Dartford,
Staines). Keep on M25 follow through to Junction 2, leave
M25 and get onto A2 (signed Canterbury, Dover, M2, Channel
Tunnel). Follow A2 to join M2.
The A2 splits off to left, keep on the
right hand lane onto M2 (signed M2 Dover, Channel
Tunnel, Canterbury, Chatham). Keep on inside lane as this
turns into filter lane for exit required which is approximately
only ½ a mile from
start of M2. Exit is signed Rochester & West
Malling. Follow filter lane to bottom roundabout
and take 2nd exit, onto next roundabout. Take
1st exit but remain on inside lane up to the
next roundabout. Take first exit this brings
you onto Cuxton Road/A228. Follow this road to
next roundabout (Medway Valley Park), go straight
across, continue to follow road to mini-roundabout
take 3rd exit and go under railway-bridge. At
this point the road splits, keep on the road
that bears round to the right which is Priory
Road, follow this road to junction, go straight
ahead onto Knight Road, follow road past Swains
Lorry Depot, take next turn on right signed Temple
Court, then take another immediate right and
the IDS Office is located at the far end of units
on left hand side.
Journey should
take approximately 1½ hours
subject to traffic conditions especially on M25.
From London Gatwick Airport to IDS:
From Gatwick Airport, get onto airport ring road and
head towards M23. Join M23 at junction 9, head north
(signed Crawley/London), leave M23 at junction 8 (signed
Heathrow), keep in right hand lane and bear round to
right (signed Dartford, Maidstone, Westerham). Continue
forward and join M25 at junction 7, heading east. Follow
M25 to junction 2. Leave M25 to get onto A2 (signed Canterbury,
Dover, M2, Channel Tunnel). Follow A2 to join M2.
The
A2 splits off to left, keep on the right hand lane
onto M2 (signed M2 Dover, Channel Tunnel, Canterbury, Chatham).
Keep on inside lane as this turns into filter lane
for exit required which is approximately only ½ a mile from
start of M2. Exit is signed Rochester & West
