New User Wizard Now Allows Entry of Email SMTP Passwords
The New User Wizard can now accept and store the password for the SMTP Password for transmitting emails. That password formerly had to be entered in Maintain Users, which required going through a second routine after completing the New User Wizard when creating a new User an a system.
This enhancement only affects G2 Users.
In G2 Admin> Security> New User Wizard, on the first screen in the lower right in the Email section is a field for SMTP Password. This password is used to transmit emails on the User’s behalf from various places in G2 and CRM.
