Service Advisors will no longer be able to create a new Work Order for Customers who have a Charge Status of “On Hold.”
To Try this Feature Out:
In G2 Accounts Receivable> Maintain Customers, click on the Miscellaneous tab, and in the Customer Credit area in the top center of the screen, enter an “H” in the Allow Charge Sales field –see below:
In G2 Service> Work Order> Update Work Order, create a new Work Order and enter the Customer ID # for the Customer just put on Hold. An error message should immediately pop up and prevent further entry unless the Customer # is changed.
