IDS End of Year Procedures and Holiday Hours

The end of the year is quickly approaching which means many of you are getting ready to close out your fiscal year. In doing so, we’d like to remind you that there are certain functions that you need to perform on your software to close out the year.

To guide you with this, we have created links for both traditional Astra and G2 users. This information should guide you in closing out your end of year properly.

Last Chance to Reduce Your Taxes:

If your dealership has had a great year in 2013 you may be searching for a few more investments to make that will help adjust the tax burden.  A great way to do this toward the end of the year with IDS is to add additional users to your system and/or to make investments in hardware.  Please reach out to your IDS Account Manager if you would like to discuss either of these options further.

 

Holiday Support Hours for Christmas and New Year’s:

We also want to make you aware of our upcoming holiday hours. These holiday hours are designed to give IDS employees time with their families, as well as continue to support you. The hours are as follows:

Christmas – 2013:

Monday, December 23 – Regular Support Hours – 8 a.m.- 6 p.m. (EST)
Tuesday, December 24 – 8 a.m. – 3 p.m. (EST)
Wednesday, December 25 – IDS Closed – No Support Available
Thursday & Friday, December 26 & 27 – Regular Support Hours – 8 a.m.- 6 p.m. (EST)

New Year’s – 2014:

Monday, December 30 – Regular Support Hours – 8 a.m.- 6 p.m. (EST)
Tuesday, December 31 – 8 a.m. – 3 p.m. (EST)
Wednesday, January 1 – IDS Closed – No Support Available
Thursday & Friday, January 2 & 3 – Regular Support Hours – 8 a.m.- 6 p.m. (EST)
